Congratulations on choosing what we feel is one of the most useful HyperCard Stacks available. This stack was inspired by the original Apple Home stack which is the Home Base for everything you do in HyperCard.
However, it wasn't long after HyperCard was born that we saw the potential for a Home Stack that would offer much more than just a place for stacks, and so we began our work on HyperFinder.... The Ultimate Home Stack and Macintosh Finder!!
Enclosed on this floppy disk is everything you need to get started.
HyperFinder/Home, HF Help 4.0, and a Demo version to give to your friends.
BE SURE TO RENAME THE STACKS TO : "HOME" and "HF Help 4.0" if they are not already. They must have the right names in order for them to work properly.

Version 3.5 & 4.0 fix all problems reported in version 3.0 & 3.2.
***ABOUT COMPACTING ::: DO NOT COMPACT THE HOME STACK AFTER YOU HAVE JUST ADDED APPLICATIONS OR DOCUMENTS. Compacting will ERASE the Icons of the Buttons you just added. TO COMPACT ::: QUIT HYPERCARD, Then Open HyperCard again and THEN COMPACT. This method will work properly.
AND FINALLY :: READ THE DOCUMENTATION PROVIDED IN THE HELP & INFO STACK WHICH YOU CAN GET TO BY GOING UNDER THE "SPECIAL" MENU IN THE HOME STACK, AND CHOOSE "HYPERFINDER HELP". The Info provided in the Help & Info stack should answer most of your questions and then some....
